Canadian wireless solutions developer Research In Motion ( RIM ) (Nasdaq: RIMM), producer of the BlackBerry handset, is targeting social network users in Brazil, RIM Latin America sales director Oscar Castellano told BNamericas.

No one expected the BlackBerry Storm to sell for the same price as a budget-minded Pearl, but I don't think anyone expected RIM's first touchscreen phone to sell for this much either.

Although Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM) refuses to say so explicitly, the company has delivered to enterprises a viable alternative to the iPhone with the new BlackBerry Storm.

Ho-hum. Another BlackBerry. Bold by name, not so much by nature. Not that the new BlackBerry Bold isn't a fine addition to Research in Motion's (RIM's) best-selling line-up of smartphones.
